JIm Bettridge, R.S.
Lead Designer
An on-site sewage facility designer with over 25 years of design, permitting, and field experience. Jim began his septic career in 1990 on the installation side of the business. His experience in the field is unique because it is rare for a designers OSSF experience to come from the installation industry. He also has a unique distinction in that he was an irrigation contractor for several years and still holds an irrigators license. His irrigation design and installation experience enhanced his understanding of complex piping systems, proper irrigation techniques, and pumping systems. WHAT IS AN OSSF?
An OSSF is an On Site Sewage Facility, more commonly referred to as a septic system. It is how we capture and dispose of the wastewater from a home or business on a site that is not served by a sewer system. It is also intended to only serve the building on the site and not others off site. This is an important distinction when planning for your facility because the ownership of the building/s, property, and system must all be a single common entity.
